Queensland Health partners with DSpark to manage public health policy

The COVID-19 pandemic presented never-before-seen challenges for states across Australia. Health departments across the country needed access to near real-time, anonymised and aggregated mobility data to better understand when, why and how Australian populations were moving so they could make better-informed decisions in relation to how to effectively manage public health policy in the midst of the pandemic.

Last year, Queensland Health approached DSpark for assistance with providing a data-as-a-service solution which would assist them with generating insights to enhance their decision making. Through a close working partnership with Queensland Health the DSpark Epidemiology Tool was created.
